Thanks so much Irina! Although snow in the mountains can be scenic, I think I'm ready for Spring flowers.

Susan, that just warms my heart. Thank you! I don't do too many snow scenes, but had a request from my oil painting class to learn to paint snow. I painted most of this in front of them as a demo.

About Mary Giacomini

Mary Giacomini

I love the outdoors, hiking and finding peaceful places. My artwork is inspired by places I've been to and would like to return. I enjoy getting "lost" when creating my art and recreating a scene I'd rather be in. I've been a professional artist for over 25 years but have been an artist my entire life. I've always loved to create. I earned a BFA in studio arts, have taken numerous classes & workshops over the years and have a wonderful support system of artist friends. Since I live in Colorado, many of my paintings reflect this area. I enjoy working in oil, pastel and watercolor.
